SUMMER CLOSURE
The club will be taking its annual holiday with effect from Monday, 2 August to Tuesday, 31 August. The last swimming session will therefore be on Sunday, 1 August. The annual “fun” session will, however, be on Sunday, 25 July. Club swimming will restart on Wednesday, 1 September.
ASA SWIM 21 – FIRST CLUB IN BUCKS TO ACHIEVE ACCREDITATION!!
Swim 21 is an Amateur Swimming Association accreditation scheme. Clubs have to submit evidence that they are meeting a required standard in their approach to swimmer development, teacher/coach development, club management and partnerships with other organisations. We aimed for accreditation as a skill development club as that is the category into which most of our swimmers fit.
We are delighted to announce that in May 2004, the Club achieved a Swim 21 Skill Development Silver Award which also qualifies the Club for Sport England’s ClubMark – a national award presented to all sports clubs that can demonstrate the provision of a quality service for its members. We are the first swimming club in Bucks to achieve this status. The award is the result of 2 year’s hard work and big congratulations should go to all those involved. There will be an official presentation of the certificate - more details will follow when arrangements have been finalised.

The site currently contains useful information, such as a diary of up and coming events, full unedited press reports, squad training times, a copy of wavelength, information on joining the Club, and long and short course Club records.
The site is updated regularly and over the coming months there will be many additions and alterations to the site to improve its look, and to make it more appealing for members to come back to. For example we hope to be able to add more comprehensive gala results and a regular news section.
