SUMMER 2005 EDITION

SUMMER CLOSURE

The Club will be taking its annual break from swimming from Monday, 1 August to Wednesday, 31 August. The annual fun session will be on Sunday, 24 July. There will be a full training session on Sunday, 31 July.

TROPHY CABINET

We are pleased to announce that the trophy cabinet is finally back at the Leisure Centre. Please do take the time to have a look at all the trophies the Club has won over the years. The cabinet can be found upstairs in the corridor between the swimming viewing gallery and overlooking the sports hall. We are also looking for volunteers who would be willing to dust the trophy cabinet and contents once a month.

DATE FOR YOUR DIARY

We will be holding another Fun Gala in the Autumn term, Sunday 18 September with a 5pm start. Entry forms will be available on the website soon. The closing date will be the last day of swimming before we break up for the Summer holidays. Any questions then please speak to the Fun Gala Organiser, Sonja Ballingall.

INDIVIDUAL SWIMMERS ENTRY TO OPEN MEETS

Please can all swimmers who submit entry requests for Open Meets ensure they keep a copy of their specific entry details.

There is often a large club entry to be processed for these types of galas. It is helpful if swimmers are able to check that their entry is correct upon receipt of entry confirmation/race cards so that, in the rare event of discrepancies, steps can be taken quickly to address any administrative errors.
